Jan. 4 - 10, 2010

Mon. Jan. 4 
All personnel came in at 2 A.M. to plow and sand all 
roads - private contractors came in at 8 A.M. to plow their 
routes then have them sanded - 1" of snow
Crushed dumpsters at transfer station
Changed cutting edges on plow # 3 and plow # 4
Re-scraped all main roads of slushy snow

Tues. Jan 5 
Did complete services on Loader, Truck # 2 and Truck # 3
Re-scraped all paved roads of slushy snow as necessary
Pushed back snow bankings around town

Wed. Jan 6 
Plowed and sanded lower W. Rum Brook Rd. for
seasonal resident
Washed trucks and Loader
Checked all roads in town for road conditions
Made repairs to truck # 3 sander
Met with David Young to go over highway issues

Thurs. Jan 7 
Cut brush on Bass Rd.
Went to Porter's for supplies 
Brush chipper quit running while on Bass Rd. - unable to
fix or diagnose problem - brought to Porter's for repair

Fri. Jan. 8 
Sanded all roads due to  1 " of snow
Washed out sand trucks
Dropped Loader tire off at Pete's Tire Barn for repair
Picked up chipper from Porter's and dropped off truck # 4 for repair
Replaced filter on diesel fuel pump
