Mon. Oct. 27

* Checked hazardous waste area for leaks finding none

* Checked all roads for storm damage and cleaned up as needed

* Hauled old hot top material to G & S Lyman for recycling

* Got truck # 3 re-inspected in Turners Falls and it passed

* Got load of cold patch in Deerfield after getting inspection sticker

* Made up contracts and notified private contractors to get signatures

* Went to Orange for supplies and to borrow steel rods from Orange Highway Dept. 

Tues. Oct. 28

* Hauled 4 loads of rip rap from Lane back to highway garage stockpile

* Finished caulking salt shed garage and did more caulking in office garage

* Went to Concord N.H. to pick up truck # 4 after having new dump body put on

Wed. Oct. 29

* Jim on vacation day

* Brought truck # 4 to Bob's Auto to get inspection - it passed

* Checked roads and chipped up brush on various roads in town

* Worked on locating drain line behind town hall

* Returned sewer rods to Orange Hwy.

Thurs. Oct. 30

* Tim went to Bay State Roads class in Northampton

* Replaced culvert # 5 on Royalston Rd.

Fri. Oct. 31

* Cleaned out various culverts in town

* Dug out old foundation area of garage for Fire Dept.

* Continued installing new regulatory street signs in town

* Tim went on fire call

* Cut brush around sand pile on Garage Rd.
