Nov. 24  - 30, 2008

Mon. Nov. 24
* Checked hazardous waste area for leaks finding none

* Crushed dumpsters at transfer station

* Calibrated sand trucks

* Tim went on fire call

* Cut brush on Orange Rd.

Tues Nov. 25
* Went to Athol Highway Dept. to borrow part for sander
body until I could order one

* Checked roads for storm damage

* Continued working on making repairs to office garage for
energy conservation

* Met with David to go over highway issues

Wed. Nov. 26
* Cut brush on Orange Rd.

* Called Verizon with phone line problem - it was fixed at 1:45 P.M.

* Spoke with Walter at DCR and we will be putting rocks on the
old Allen Rd. on the Gale Rd. side soon to block vehicle access

* Received call from Shelburne Control at 9 P.M. of MVA and F.D. was
requesting sand due to black ice - checked other roads and went
home at 11:15 P.M.

Thurs. Nov. 27
* Holiday

Fri. Nov. 28
* Tim, Jim and Vin on vacation day

* Checked roads and beaver trouble areas

* Put rocks on Gale Rd. end of old Allen Rd. for DCR to block
vehicle access

* Cleaned vehicles and washed the windows

Sun. Nov. 30
* Called personnel in at 3 P.M. to sand due to sleet, snow
and freezing rain - went home at 7 P.M.
