Jan. 12 Jim out sick Replaced batteries on Grader Cut brush on Bass Rd. Wed. Jan. 13 Removed piston from Grader to be rebuilt by T&R Custom Put new hydraulic filter in truck # 2 Cut brush on Bass Rd. - chipper quit running again - brought to Porter's for repair Met with Graves Fire Protection technician to install new extinguisher in town hall kitchen area Brought all old expired fire extinguishers to Fire Dept. so they can use them for training purposes Worked on spare Loader tire to try and locate why it loses air Patched pothole on Winchester Rd. near house # 595 and low spot on Athol Rd. by Copper Angel Bakery Thurs. Jan. 14 Bill on vacation day Made repairs on plow # 2 Went to Worcester for plow parts Met with David Young on highway issues Picked up chipper from Porter's Fri. Jan. 15 Sanded dirt roads as necessary due to icy conditions Cut brush on Bass Rd. Replaced battery in brush chipper Replaced sander spinner shaft and bearings on truck # 3 sander as it broke Sun. Jan. 17 Called in all personnel to begin sanding paved roads at 6:30 P.M. - called in private contractors and Bruce Kilhart to begin plowing at midnight - continued into Monday
