Holiday

Tues. Jan. 18
Got equipment ready for snow storm
Called in private contractors and began plowing at 9 A.M. - snow
switched to sleet and freezing rain at 11:15 A.M. - began re-plowing and
sanding of all roads at 1 P.M. - went home at 5:45 P.M. - 8" of snow,
sleet and freezing rain
Received call from Shelburne Control at 7:30 P.M. that police were
requesting sand due to continued freezing rain - called in personnel and
sanded all roads - went home at 1 A.M.

Wed. Jan. 19
Came in at 3 A.M. to check roads and there was still some freezing rain
occurring - decided not to plow until 7 A.M. to prevent flash freezing
Began scraping and sanding all roads at 8:30 A.M. - private contractors
began plowing at 10 A.M. - re-scraped main roads beginning at 2 P.M. -
went home at 4:45 P.M.

Thurs. Jan. 20 
Went to Keene for parts
Cleared snow in village center and other roads in town
Cut down bent tree on Gale Rd. from ice storm
Flipped cutting edge on plow # 1
Cleaned and checked equipment for repairs

Fri. Jan. 21 
Personnel came in at 5 A.M. to begin plowing all roads - private
contractors called in at 5:15 A.M. - began finish plowing and sanding of
all roads at 10:45 A.M. - went home at 4:45 P.M. - 6" of light, fluffy
snow
