* Vin on vacation 

* Checked hazardous waste area for leaks finding none

* Sanded dirt roads as necessary due to icy conditions and
washed sand trucks

* Received report of tree on wires on Richmond Rd.
by pole # 8 - notified National Grid and Verizon - Verizon 
came and will get a crew to cut tree at some point

* Checked roads and beaver areas for damage or problems

* Made repair to edge of culvert # 3 on Old Winchester Rd.

Tues. Dec. 2
* Vin on vacation day and Jim out sick

* Spot sanded roads due to black ice

* Tree on Richmond Rd. was cut some time since yesterday
by Verizon off wires - moved off road edge with loader

* Re-installed speed limit sign on Richmond Rd. that was pulled out

* Cleaned up dead tree that fell on Winchester Rd.

* Crushed dumpsters at transfer station

* Picked up more free guard rail from bridge project

* Did driveway inspection on Athol Rd.

* Looked at complaint of problem on Hastings Pond Rd. - to
follow up with homeowner

Wed. Dec. 3

* Vin on vacation day

* Tim was at Bay State Roads program in Northampton

* Worked on insulating old garage ceiling as recommended
by Energy Audit Committee

* Assisted Fire Dept. backfilling around foundation for addition

Thurs. Dec. 4
* Jim out sick

* Finished insulating old garage ceiling and returned
equipment to Hamshaw's

* Cut brush on Orange Rd.

Fri. Dec. 5
* Jim out sick

* Vin on vacation day

* Tim went to Shrewsbury to look over new truck

* Began re-habbing York rake for next year

* Cleaned out beaver debris in culvert on Hastings Pond Rd.

Sun. Dec. 7
* Called in personnel to sand all roads at 2:45 P.M. due
to heavy dusting of snow - went home at 7:15 A.M.
