Feb. 2 * Jim on day off * Checked hazardous waste area for leaks finding none * Crushed dumpsters at transfer station * Widened Quarry, Chestnut Hill, Wendell, Wilson, Revere Hill and Rockwood roads * Scraped main roads of slush Tues. Feb. 3 * Called in one private contractor and began plowing and sanding all roads due to 1" of snow and slush * Called in personnel and private contractors at 6:30 P.M. to plow and sand roads to get snow and slush off before it froze - went home at 12 midnight - 1" of snow Wed. Feb. 4 * Sanded all dirt roads due to icy conditions * Reported to Police of a stop sign that was knocked down at Northfield and Wendell Rd. with a description of vehicle * Cleaned out sand trucks * Changed cutting edge on 1-Ton plow * Met with FEMA on Dec. ice storm reimbursement Thurs. Feb. 5 * Widened Athol, Old Winchester and Robbins roads * Spot sanded roads due to icy conditions * Met with National Grid to go over two separate telephone pole projects * Met with Army Corp. to go over tree debris estimates from Dec. ice storm Fri. Feb. 6 * Bill on day off * Widened Orange and Winchester roads * Worked on FEMA ice storm paperwork Sat. Feb. 7 * Received call from Shelburne Control at 7:15 A.M. that Fire Dept. was requesting sand on Orange Rd. due to MVA - called in one person to check roads and sand as necessary - went home at 9:15 A.M.
