Mon. Feb. 25
* Jim on vacation day

* Checked hazardous waste area for leaks finding none

* Crushed dumpsters at landfill

* Worked on scraping ice on Hastings Heights Rd. and Athol Rd.

* Worked on water problem on Flower Hill Rd.

* Dropped off truck # 3 at Porter's for oil leak repair

* Checked roads for conditions and any problems

Tues. Feb. 26
* Jim on vacation day

* Scraped ice on Wendell Rd.

* Picked up truck # 3 at Porter's

* Changed cutting edge on truck # 3 plow

* Met with Jim to go over highway issues

* Prepared equipment for snowstorm

* Began sanding all paved roads at 2:30 P.M. - started plowing roads at
5 P.M. - called in private contractors at 6 P.M. - snow switched to
sleet and rain at 7:45 P.M. - began re-plowing at 9:30 P.M. - began
re-sanding all roads at 2 A.M. on Wed.

Wed. Feb. 27
* Jim and Bill out sick

* Scraped main roads of slush and ice and sanded areas that were icy

Thurs. Feb. 28
* Called in personnel to sand all roads at 2 A.M. due to heavy
dusting of snow

* Scraped ice off Winchester Rd.

* Country Oil came to repair office furnace

* Tim went on fire call

* Prism Consulting came by to drop off new lighting
for Highway Garage

* Brian Peters began installing new garage lighting

* Changed cutting edge on truck # 4 plow

* Cleaned up various areas of snow and ice/water issues

Fri. Feb. 29
* Jim out sick today

* Pushed back snowbankings on various roads in town

* Went to Athol and Greenfield to get supplies

* Called in personnel at 9 P.M. - began sanding all paved
roads at 9:45 P.M. - continued into Sat.

Sat. Mar. 1
* Called in private contractors at 12:45 A.M. and began plowing - began
re-plowing at 6:15 A.M. - began re-sanding all roads at 1 P.M. - went
home at 4:30 P.M. - 5" of snow
