Mar. 2 - 8, 2009

Mon. Mar. 2

* Called personnel in at 11:30 P.M. on Sun. to sand all paved roads due
to snowstorm - began plowing main roads at 3:30 A.M. - called in private
contractors at 5 A.M. - began finish plowing and sanding 2:30 P.M. -
went home at 8 P.M. - 10" of snow

Tues. Mar. 3

* Vin out sick

* Brought truck # 2 to Springfield for emergency repairs

* Crushed dumpsters at transfer station

* Checked hazardous waste area for leaks finding none

* Cleaned up garage area and washed out equipment

* Plowed snow drifts throughout town

* Met with David on highway issues

Wed. Mar. 4

* Watched safety videos on electrical lines and had a safety class with
all employees

* Continued cutting brush on Flower Hill Rd.

* Tim went on Police call at request of Chief Peters

* Met with David on highway issues

Thurs. Mar. 5

* Bill out sick

* Tim went on fire call

* Received report of snow drifts on S. Holden Rd. – plowed same

* Put up road posting signs for weight restrictions

* Flipped cutting knives on brush chipper

Fri. Mar. 6

* Continued cutting brush on Flower Hill Rd. and some on Buzzell Pl.

* Brian Peters finished installing back-up generator system and testing
of the system
