Warwick Highway Weekly Log June 6 - 12, 2011 Mon. June 6 Tim on vacation all week Bill on comp day Worked on digging out rocks on Flower Hill Rd. and fixing ditch line Tues. June 7 Finished digging rocks and fixing ditch line on Flower Hill Rd. Painted areas of repair on truck # 3 Dug out culverts and bleeders on Old Winchester Rd. and Robbins Rd. as necessary Cut down Japanese Knotweed at highway garage Crushed dumpsters at transfer station Checked for beaver activity - minor activity on Richmond Rd. at power lines Protective Services in to replace fire alarm panel that was struck by lightning the previous week Wed. June 8 Brian out sick Dealt with beaver issues on Richmond Rd. Cut up fallen tree on Old Winchester Rd. Washed trucks # 1, 2 and 3 Pete's Tire came up to repair flat tire on Backhoe in garage Checked roads for any rain storm damage Thurs. June 9 Changed oil and filter in Loader Replaced back-up alarm in truck # 4 Checked roads for storm related damage Fixed washouts on Bass Rd. and removed tree chunks in ditch from Lewis Tree cutting Jim and Brian received call from Shelburne Control at 6 P.M. about trees down on various roads - took care of what was not in wires and were released by Police to go home Fri. June 10 Brian received call from Shelburne Control at 12:30 A.M. about tree down on Northfield Rd. - no other personnel available so Police had road closed until A.M. when tree was cut up and removed Put out road closed signs and cones for wedding on Fellows Field on Sat. Dealt with storm related tree damage around town
