June 15 - 21, 2009

Mon. June 15 
* Checked hazardous waste area for leaks finding none

* Crushed dumpsters at transfer station

* Repaired a spring in the road on Chestnut Hill Rd. and lined it with
stone to harden up roadway

* Checked roads for damage due to heavy rain and made repairs as
necessary

* Hauled 4 loads of rip rap from Lane Const. Back to hwy. garage stockpile

* Installed two new street signs to replace stolen ones

* Called Police to report damaged street sign that occurred over the
weekend sometime

Tues. June 16
* Began milling operation on Orange Rd. - worked until 5 P.M.

* Began graveling operations on Gale Rd. to replace gravel lost during
ice storm

Wed. June 17 
* Began paving operations on Orange Rd. - worked until 8 P.M.

* Fixed several minor washouts around town with rip rap

* Mixed up millings we received from Orange Rd. with gravel

* Smoothed out potholes on Old Winchester Rd.

* Continued graveling operations on Gale Rd. to replace gravel lost
during ice storm

Thurs. June 18 
* Cleaned out culverts and bleeders on Richmond Rd.

Fri. June 29 
* Finished cleaning out culverts and bleeders on Richmond Rd.

* Put crushed gravel by driveways and mailboxes as needed on Orange Rd.
where we paved Wed.

* Washed trucks and cleaned them up
