Mon. Aug. 11
* Checked hazardous waste area for leaks finding none

* Crushed dumpsters at transfer station

* Checked roads for storm damage and made necessary repairs

* Cleaned up around garage area

* Worked on problems with phone system at garage

* Discovered beavers plugging culvert on Hastings Pond Rd.

* Met with National Grid on pole placement project on Hastings Pond Rd.

* Went to Selectboard meeting

Tues. Aug. 12 
* Continued fixing storm damage to various roads

* Prepared for culvert replacement on Orange Rd. by cemetery

* Met with contractor and ordered new entrance doors
and window for garages and office

* Cut up tree that fell on Orange Rd.

Wed. Aug. 13 
* Replaced culvert # 8 on Orange Rd. by cemetery and
prepared for another culvert replacement for tomorrow

Thurs. Aug. 14
* Replaced culvert # 11 on Orange Rd.

Fri. Aug. 15 
* Jim on vacation day

* Trucked two loads of asphalt base from Lane’s

* Went to Gardner to get concrete block and then
Hamshaw's for concrete on the way back

* Fixed up culvert patches on Orange Rd.

* Installed bump signs on Orange Rd. by trenches

* Checked beaver problem on Hastings Pond Rd.

* Repaired culvert # 15 on Shepardson Rd.

* Picked up road sign on Orange Rd.

* Removed dead animal on Orange Rd.

* Worked on culvert extensions on Orange Rd.

Thurs. Aug. 21
* Cut trees on Orange Rd.

* Worked on culverts on Orange Rd.

Fri. Aug. 22
* Dug out ledge on Beech Hill Rd. and put one
load of rip rap and 64 yds. of gravel in road past
culvert # 4 and graded portions of road
