Meeting Minutes

Meeting called to order at 7:05 PM. 

Minutes from August 16, 2010 meeting approved unanimously.  
Con Comm 8/24 meeting did not have a quorum so it has been rescheduled
to 9/20 at 7 PM.  The reason a quorum is not met is because Mary has to
recuse herself for being a member of the Beach Committee when our NOI is
discussed. Dave offered $200 for the sheds and since the cost was .99, a
check was issued for $199.01 and deposited to the Beach committee fund
for water testing. $25.16 was received from contributions at Old Home
Day for water testing. Matt is making CD's of the slideshow and they
will be sold for $5 each and proceeds will go for water testing.
Kathy is going to put a notice in the Warwick Newsletter each month with
updates and fund raising plans. 
The folks who had volunteered to donate $300 of the $600 for water
testing needed, are now not in a position to do so.  We now need to
raise an additional $175 for this year.
Kathy gave an update of the Old Home Day presentation.
The Beach Account has been set up and 2 people are required to be on the
account.  Kathy, as chairperson and Jim has volunteered to be a
cosigner. Matt reported that Tim said the spillway work should be
complete in about 2 weeks.
Jim can't complete the signage till the NOI is approved and he has it
framed and needs a piece of 4x4 3/4" plywood to complete the sign.
Kathy suggested we come up with a policy list and we will discuss how to
deal with each policy.  These will be available for all committee
members to reference.  Gloria will look for a policy template that we
can work with.
Nov 13th is the Holiday Fair in town so we will look at a fund raising
function to begin the fund raising for next years water testing.  
Kathy notified the committee that everyone is required to complete and
pass an ethics test which is online at

Once the quiz is completed, you can print out the results and return to
Kathy who will report to the Selectboard.
Neil's cross is being brought back to his cottage.  
Next meeting is scheduled for Monday, October 18, 2010 at 7:00 PM.
